The Lirong Shopping Centre is located in the middle of the thriving commercial district in YanĄŻan.Wang WeiĄŻs work was broadcast on the major screen in the main hall of the shopping centre.The work is composed of 2 parts, with a person walking in the opposite direction of the escalator, one going up and one going down.The work uses the contradiction of duality to explain the spatio-temporal difference between history and reality, poetically expressing a solemn question by placing it within the context of an everyday activity. |
