The work of Guo Fengyi uses a self authorized psychological experience to construct a personally recognized and alterable symbolic world. Through a Daoist understanding, she pursues and investigates an unknown subject. The paradox is that she uses an understanding of her inner world to illuminate her subject through drawing, which ultimately comes back to an understanding of herself. However, as art, it is still not able describe the difficulty in crossing to the shore of salvation.
